A number of purchasing options and contracts are possible for delivery of broad acre crops including wheat, lupins, barley, triticale and corn which are procured based on their nutritional contribution for Rivalea’s stockfeed key brands.

"While all the decisions I make are market driven, and are about getting the best price possible, it’s without a doubt that a local market for my crops is an advantage. For instance, I grow the high yielding feed wheat ‘Beaufort’. Last season I supplied this wheat to Rivalea and the price I’ve received was really good.  Rivalea are good to deal with. The relationship we have with them is long standing because it works.  My family have supplied the Rivalea feedmill for a long time. I’ve lost track of the number of years exactly, but I have memories of sitting in the truck with my Dad as we delivered grain to the mill. I’m 35 now, so it’s been a while."
